Microcarriers are a support matrix allowing for expansion of adherent cells in the suspension culture. They are offered in both non-sterile autoclavable and sterile gamma-irradiated ready-to-use format to serve both research and manufacturing need. All microcarrier types are manufactured using solid modified polystyrene cores and surfaces are modified with proprietary chemistries to enhance cell attachment and growth performance across multiple adherent cell types. SoloHill® microcarrier types do not require lengthy pre-conditioning steps prior to their use in the cell culture processes and their basic properties facilitate simple cell detachment.

  • SoloHill® Bag Plastic Plus ACF 100g(2)

    The Microcarrier Delivery System (MDS) products comprise microcarriers delivered ready-to-use in single-use format. Microcarriers and single-use bag are delivered pre-sterilized by Gamma irradiation, allowing direct seeding into bioreactors. No preparation steps needed. Customized formats available to order up to 8 Kg per bag.
    Plastic Plus microcarriers are fabricated from cross-linked polystyrene cores and are positively charged to improve attachment kinetics and growth performance of adherent cell types. Non-protein coated surfaces of Plastic Plus microcarriers enable their use in protein-free and chemically defined cell culture applications. Microcarrier lots are manufactured and qualified under an ISO9001 quality management system.

  • SoloHill® Microcarriers are a panel of protein coated, non-protein coated, positively charged and not charged microcarriers. Their solid cores facilitates efficient cell detachment at harvest and promotes high cell viability while maintaining cell critical quality attributes during expansion processes
