The absence of proteins and only very low levels of human recombinant insulin facilitate both downstream processing and regulatory compliance.
ProVero™ 1 contains Hepes and NaHCO3 as buffering systems and phenol red as pH indicator. It comes supplemented with L-glutamine (3 mM). Some Vero cell strains require additional supplementation with 5.0 mg/L rhEGF for optimal cell growth.
