The Sartoflow® 10 stainless steel holder with hydraulic is designed for TFF applications from 30 L to 1000 L volume. The holder is optimized for the use with up to ten Sartocon® or two Sartocube® production scale TFF cassettes (max. 7 m²). Typical applications of the Sartoflow® 10 holder are concentration and diafiltration of proteins, vaccines, antibodies, oligo nucleotides, endotoxin removal etc. and cell harvesting and clarification processes.

Choose your Sartoflow® Filter Holders
Sartoflow® 10 is a TFF filtration holder used in biopharmaceutical TFF applications.
By selecting the appropriate membrane, you can use it for such applications as cell separation or cell concentration down to protein or enzyme purification. The Sartoflow® 10 filter holder can accommodate up to 10 Sartocon® filter cassettes. Pressure is applied by means of a pneumatically powered or manually operated hydraulic pump to a sliding clamping plate through a centered hydraulic ram.
The cassettes are positioned between the sliding clamping plate and the stationary product plate. All parts that come into contact with the filtered product are manufactured from highly polished stainless steel (Ra ≤ 0.4 μm), which makes cleaning simple and easy.
The polished finish of the clamping plates and the product plate ensures perfect sealing of the filter cassettes while in use.
This design has several advantages:
- smooth and safe operation when using a pneumatically driven hydraulic pump;
- no need for seals between the cassettes and the clamping plates;
- simple cassette exchange procedure;
- filter holder is in-line steam-sterilizable.
